TINSEL TOWN TERROR
SYNOPSIS
A young, blonde-haired, blue-eyed, All-American girl came to Hollywood to make her mark in the entertainment business. Holly Harper got on a bus at a small rural bus stop in New Orleans. Holly scanned movie magazines on the bus to pass the time as the bus headed to tinsel town. She exited the bus, finally, in her dream city, Hollywood.
Holly was picked up by her High School boyfriend who had urged her to come to Hollywood to try and “Become Part of Hollywood History.” They rent rooms in the Hollywood Horror House where “B” movie stars and legendary Horror film stars lived and worked in the movie business.
CUT TO:
As the sun is setting on the town of broken dreams, Holly and Matt drive up to a bizarre, bleak home on a fairly deserted street in Hollywood. Holly is introduced to a man dressed like Dracula as he slowly opened the door and stared at Holly. He spoke like Dracula: “Won’t you come in?”
What happens from here on? Does Holly live or die? Does Holly become a Hollywood Vampire? Did Holly get her break in show biz or did she go the way of many other Hollywood hopefuls? Was Holly in real danger because of the blood on her neck, or was it real blood or stage blood, as the result of the student movie she was cast in?
When Holly’s sister came to visit, was she in danger or was Holly part of a practical joke that backfired? Would the All-American boy, Matt, save Holly from doom and become the love of her life, or would he be just another victim in the Hollywood Horror House? Was the Dracula character who ran the Hollywood Horror House just a Horror film fan, or a very unbalanced schizophrenic maniac, with a great rap?
Would all of the other girls who lived in the Hollywood Horror House survive or would they meet their demise, the same way of the earlier “B” movie stars of the fifties who also lived at the Hollywood Horror House?
Do you want to see what happens to Holly and the rest of these quirky and
lovable characters including Rufus, an FBI investigator and Uri, an ex-KGB investigator who is seeking the killer of his mother, Anna?
Is this the same Dracula or was it another one?
Would Bela Lugosi be proud of the writers and creators of Hollywood Horror House?
Does Ed, our favorite cop, solve the crime along with the aid of Rufus and our favorite Russian operative? Are the displays of special deeds performed by our favorite Dracula, ‘reel’ deeds of magician levels or supernatural in scope?
Romances flourish in the Hollywood Horror House but some of the females fall victim to the murders that the authorities try to figure out. Are any of the coupled couples alive when the movie terminates? See “Tinsel Town Terror” and see the new relationships develop. See who bites the dust and see how much pizza Pasquale has to eat due to his disappearing customers. Is it a mystery or does Pasquale’s tattoo mean anything? Watch “Tinsel Town Terror” and be entertained as you find out the answers to all of the above.
One clue: This comedy shows all the kids who have been ‘supposedly’ murdered, surprise Holly at the end of the movie, when we discover the camera that Holly’s boyfriend, Matt, carried, was really taping HDTV on all the events, to the surprise of Holly. Ellen Gold, the studio boss, presents Holly with a multi-pix contract due to Matt’s directorial effort. Was Walter, the Ghost a real ghost or was he another illusion?
Everyone in our movie was in on the (very good) joke perpetrated on Holly, which became her lucky moment.
This quirky comedy movie is to be rated PG or …PG 13.
AMERICAN HERO
This story is based on a true event!
SYNOPSIS
A master sergeant, Mitch Dawson, who served in the U.S. Army Special Forces Intelligence Division came home to very mixed reviews at the end of the Vietnam war. He was considered anything but a hero and was dejected by the confusion. In Vietnam during his tour of duty, Mitch found some intelligence information that caused him, on his own and at tremendous personal risk, to think on his feet. He did so and broke into a Viet Cong temporary prison camp and rescued Lt. Harlan, his company commander, shortly after Lt. Harlan was captured. This unselfish act was that of a true hero. It also resulted in the saving of Lt. Harlan’s life.
To say the least, Lt. Harlan was thrilled by Mitch’s intervention. Lt. Harlan was very grateful to Mitch and they became fast friends. They lost contact when Mitch and Lt. Harlan left the service. Mitch re-enlisted after a rather lackluster attempt to rejoin the civilian ranks.
FLASH FORWARD: . . . PRESENT DAY – LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
Mitch finally retired from the U.S. Army. He flies into Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday with his son, daughter-in-law, and their two kids. Mitch is blindfolded and a big cake is brought out in his honor, aflame with too many candles. Mitch blows out all of the candles and removes an American flag stuck in the cake. He places it on young Timmy’s tricycle and 5-year-old Timmy rides off exuberantly.
Meanwhile, a trio of terrorists arrive in Las Vegas. They decide to poison the Las Vegas water supply. They were instructed not to rent a van or auto. They were told not to buy a car, either, so it can’t be traced back to them. There is one alternative…steal a car. They do. They steal a station wagon belonging to Mort Davis, who is the owner of “The Las Vegas Gun Barn.” Mort has left a rifle in the back with a pack of shells. One of the terrorists spots the rifle and holds it, screaming about how lucky they are and how unlucky some dumb American is going to be, when young Timmy rides his tricycle down the sidewalk as the Davis station wagon cruises by. The terrorist in the back of the wagon goes berserk when he sees the American flag stuck into the handlebars of the trike that Timmy is so proudly driving.
All reason stops and the terrorist quickly, and without thinking, reacts to the symbol of our American flag. He pulls the trigger and …BOOM, young Timmy is dead and laying on the ground.
The station wagon makes a hasty retreat, with all of the other terrorists freaking out at the terrorist who pulled the trigger.
The air clears and the terrorists are history. Mitch and his son and daughter-in-law are all running (in slow motion) to aid Timmy.
Timmy didn’t make it and Mitch’s son goes mental. So much so, that he is taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. A day later a very high ranking police investigator arrives at the Gunner house. Much to the amazement of Mitch and the investigator, the investigator turns out to be Lt. Harlan from Vietnam, whose life was saved by Mitch, so many years ago.
The two ex-warriors are pleased to be reunited but not this way. Lt. Harlan pledges to help Mitch any way possible…but within the law.
At this time no one knows about the terrorists or their plans to destroy the City of Las Vegas, so Mitch starts looking for clues. Mitch goes nuts when a policeman comes to the house and claims that it must be a case of malicious mischief.
Mitch soon starts utilizing all of his Army intelligence training to search out clues to this tragic mystery. He finally gets help from his daughter-in-law and the anti-terrorist team starts to grow, that is until Lt. Harlan preaches against a law-and-order approach.
Mitch continues to get clues and discovers the whereabouts of the anti-American villains.
Mitch takes the law into his own hands and tracks down the killer and gets him. The investigator shows up and reacts in a loyal manner to his friend, Mitch. Does the daughter-in-law get too frightened when her daughter gets kidnapped when Mitch gets too close? Does Mitch’s son recover? Are the terrorists taken down?
See all the American patriots . . .
Get the enemy and save, in the process . . .
A great American City ! ! !
With the help of the USA, the allies won the 1st world war…
The Americans also helped win the 2nd world war…
And we’re gonna win this one, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Curse of the
Purple Monkey
SYNOPSIS
The Place: Hollywood, California.
The Time: Christmas, 1959.
The Event: Christmas decorations were all over the city and radios and store loudspeaker systems played a lot of Christmas music.
The story might be described in the following way. The key word here is “might.” Say Raymond Chandler and Dashell Hamitt met Mel Brooks and Woody Allen to weave a noir-styled period story set in Hollywood, circa 1959 with a little Damon Runyon added in, …just for kicks. The title of this movie is really what the movie is all about: “The Curse of the Purple Monkey.” Which Monkey has the curse? Is it Monkey, the secretary of Shadoe, a private detective, who is working on a case for Cho Cho? Cho Cho is the daughter of an Admiral, an old friend of Shadoe’s, from his Naval Intelligence days. Or is it about the Ceramic Purple Monkey, which the Admiral’s daughter, Cho Cho, inherited from the Admiral’s mother.
Is the ceramic Purple Monkey stolen by thugs who are hired by Nazi spies, Carl Schmidt and Dr. Brunhilda? Dr. Brunhilda, known as Bernice to her close personal friend, Herr Carl Schmidt, is in charge of torturing and using sodium pentathol, the truth drug, on Shadoe, and his gang to find the missing part to the device that could change the world as we know it. Or is the curse on a stuffed Purple Monkey, which houses the missing piece for the device. The device, a time machine, which has a missing piece found by Cho Cho, can’t work until the Admiral installs it properly. Do the thugs working for the Nazi spies get it? Or do the Nazi spies become red-blooded All-American capitalists?
Lue Fat, who likes to act like Sidney Toler in Charlie Chan, is the other member of the American intelligence community, who operates undercover, as a Chinese restaurant entrepreneur. Does he help solve the case, with the aid of his pal, Shadoe, the ‘Blacks Ops’ trained ‘Private Dick’, along with the Admiral? Who helps most? Is it Ling Fan, son of Lue Fat, who claims, ‘Lue,’ in the Chinese province of Canton, is pronounced as Lo? That’s right, Lue likes to be called Lo as in Lo Fat. Lue Fat is fat. Anyway, is it Lue Fat who saves the day? Or is it the key thug, Herbert, who goes sensitive on us after Dr. Bernice Brunhilda, the ex-Nazi spy, learns the error of her ways and abandons her Hitler SS techniques, in exchange for utilizing her S&M type of feminine charms on all who desire her? (They include her boss, Herr Carl Schmidt and, believe it or not, maybe even Lue Fat.)
Does Bernice weave her way into the group, promising to sell the device to the highest bidder and only take an agent’s fee?
Does the time machine, developed by Dr. Albert Einstein, finally work? Where does it send our heroes? Does it risk all their lives, and if so, who saves the time machine from falling into the wrong hands?
Are both the psychics who tell our heroes the biggest clue: to find the missing piece… phony? … even though they give the same clue and the clue turns out to be . . . correct?
Is it a coincidence? Does Cho Cho fall in love with Ling Fan? Does Monkey fall in love with Herbert, the sensitive thug, because he is a master magician? Is Herbert excited with the Shadoe man, because he is an expert at shape shifting, which really impresses Herbert? Did Shadoe learn this talent from the government black Ops program, or a Cherokee tribal chief.
Is it a problem for our heroes that they are dealing with a time machine and the date is December 7th, 1959? Does the time machine malfunction and instead of going into the future 18 years, goes back in time to 1941? Does the time machine return our heroes to the place of the machine’s origin, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii? Oh boy, did I say, “Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, December 7th 1941”? If so, do our group of heroes survive the attack?
See if the curse is Monkey, Shadoe’s secretary or any of the other three Monkeys, or the Monkey belonging to the organ grinder who shows up everywhere.
Watch what happens to Monkey and her friends in “Curse of the Purple Monkey” Part one.
Remember, be there or be square.
Oh, and see “Curse of the Purple Monkey,” Part II,
“The time machine rides again…”
Last Chance Café
(An off beat, sci-fi, ecological, search for world peace, comedy)
SYNOPSIS
This quirky story starts off with a rugged, ex-military Seal, modern-day cowboy scientist, named “Cowboy,” who is associated with S.E.T.I., (The search for extraterrestrial intelligence) and is traveling to Angel’s Apocalyptic Diner, in New Mexico. We quickly learn that Angel, our hostess, has not only invited Cowboy to attend this world conference, but other folks from all over the planet as well.
Scientists and Country representatives show up, much to the dismay of other travelers, who are a little perplexed to find that Angel’s Diner is not only the meeting place for the conference, but is a space ship that picks up all of the attendees in a heartbeat. To accomplish this feat, the Diner / spaceship travels by magnetic energy, from country to country, in order to get reports on the countries’ conditions, from the representatives who have statements to proclaim and questions to ask. Angel gives the earth people alien technology, in order to help save the water and create more healthy foods along with a hopeful, peaceful co-existence.
The discussions continue throughout the story, as we soon find out that our story is set in the year 2015. Many countries are in quite different ecological condition than we know them to be now. Several non-scheduled visitors morph in to the diner through our British cowboy troubadour, who is a subordinate of Angel. Angel’s talking dog is the commanding officer on this mission from space. That’s right, Angel is also an alien, who’s on a mission to save the planet earth from destruction, due to ecological travesties. World War lll has occurred and her planet believes the Universe would not survive WW lV.
Angel, along with her grand exalted leaders, guide the humans, to not only save the earth from an ecological disaster, but from an enemy’s attack from bad aliens, who desire to take over planet earth. The bad alien’s planet is approaching burn out. This story point creates the conflict that will risk the future of the planet earth.
The story takes on a Fellini-esque feel, when, at the end, Angel’s spaceship arrives on her planet to get help from her leaders, who resemble the Supremes, and the grand exalted surprise leader.
The story is couched in humor, in order to give a positive message, without appearing to preach. The story’s dilemma is to find a way to create a method for the ensuing romance between Angel and our “John Wayne” cowboy hero, to live happily ever after. It does, they do, but on what planet can they live? See “Last Chance Café” and maybe you’ll find out the answer. If you don’t find out the answer, maybe you’ll understand the surreal feel that accompanies this tale to parody the “Wizard of Oz.”
“The Last Chance Café” will show majestic vistas through its virtual reality concept, along with strange and interesting characters from all over the Universe. It’s wrapped with Country music because the flight starts in New Mexico. This is a real fantasy-adventure, sci-fi, romantic-comedy, that pushes the envelope regarding the ecological problems we face, but in a humorous and positive manner that really does not preach at all.
